Mechanism of action
Herbicide affects on the acetolactate synthase enzyme involved in the chain of biosynthesis of amino acids, interferes with protein synthesis, causing termination of cell division in the meristematic tissues of weeds. Action: contact and residual (soil). Penetration: through the seed coat, roots, shoots, stems and leaves. Movement in the plant systemic (acropetally and basipetally).
Period of protective effect
During the entire growing season under favorable weather conditions and the corresponding spectrum of weeds.
