GRANSTAR PRO
GRANSTAR PRO

Mechanism of action

"Herbicide Granstar® Pro: - is absorbed through the leaves, stems and roots (to a lesser degree) and further moves easily in the weeds to growing points; - blocks acetolactate synthase enzyme, involved in synthesis of essential amino acids, in sensitive plants; - inhibition of the enzyme leads to a rapid cessation of cell division and subsequent plant death.

Sensitive weeds will stop growing in a few hours after treatment, chlorosis and necrosis appear in a few days, the weeds will die in 10-20 days after application. Less sensitive weeds can survive and stay green, but they are no longer competing with cultivated plants."
