Mechanism of action
Fluroxypyr quickly, within 1 hour, is absorbed by the leaves of weeds, and partially absorbed by plant roots from the soil. It actively moves in the xylem and phloem, spreads throughout the plant, including growth points, disrupts the development of plant cells and affects the growth processes in general.
Rate and symptoms of exposure
The first signs of weeds inhibition under favourable conditions occur in a few hours after herbicide application. During the first days after treatment, stop the growth of weeds is observed, after 3 to 4 days - discoloration and curling of leaves, then - reduction of the internodes. Complete destruction of weeds occurs after 2 - 3 weeks.
